Hey, I have to say that I’m not sure what you mean about situations that involve giving birth to a still born that could have been prevented. Could you elaborate a little bit, I’d like to look in on that. Maybe I’m just confused… haha, it happens.
When it comes to pregnancies that are a result of rape… My heart breaks when I hear about anyone who is a victim of rape… I can’t stand it, it burns me to my core and I would do anything to see to it that every rapist, child molester is punished to the highest extent of the law. They deserve nothing less, though the sad part about this is many rapist and child molesters never see their day in court… It’s horrifying.
There is no “but” to what I just said… I’m not cheep like that.
Abortion should never be an option and is never justifiable, no matter the circumstances, unless the mothers LIFE is in danger. If the unborn is NOT a human life, then no justification for abortion is necessary… abortion is totally fine and women should have abortions! But if the unborn is a human life (which is scientifically factual), then no justification for abortion is adequate…
Let me say again that rape, incest, etc is the most heinous of crimes. It’s abominable. And I will do everything, EVERYTHING i can to meet the needs of rape victims who find themselves pregnant or not… It’s my job, passion, duty and pleasure as a Christian and as someone who is pro-life to help them.

Abortion is not a matter of preference. I don’t oppose abortion because “i don’t want one” or find it distasteful. I oppose it because it violates rational moral principles.
If you don’t want a slave, you probably shouldn’t get one… ??? That’s not the point. We oppose slavery (I’m hoping you do) not because “we don’t want one”… no. Slavery devalues a human life, and so does abortion.
So have some chocolate ice cream and think about it. =)

Wow, thank you for messaging me. This message made me tear up. Life is worth defending… People getting mad at me is a given… People get angry when they are presented with the truth because they become responsible for their actions.
I was raised in a Christian home and from a very early age I was with my parents peacefully protesting abortion. I have pictures all of my life holding up signs when i was growing up. I always knew it was wrong, and talked to my friends about it all through high school who were having abortions and such. But in the last year I started working in pro-life organizations. This last year has been an intense year full of God opening doors for me to spread the word of Life. I got involved in college this last year after I went to an abortion clinic last summer and saw all of the women who were in there and my heart broke. I talked to the women inside the clinic and told them I loved them, that God loved them, and I was praying for them and asked them to leave with me. A few of them did, after I was told to leave…. After that day, it was ON!
Pro-Life advocates don’t oppose abortion because they find it distasteful. They oppose it because it violates rational moral principles. The negative emotional response follows from the moral wrongness of the act… its not about taste… its about Truth.

Oh and btw, that person wasn't ignorant. They were absolutely correct. The illegalization of something does not get rid of it. Making abortion illegal will not solve anything, it will only make things worse for women. I respect if you're against abortion, but wanting to make it illegal won't solve your problem. People who want abortions will always seek them no matter what. Just like people who do drugs, even though they're illegal. If you want to lower the abortion rate, teach better sex education so that women don't have unexpected and unwanted pregnancies.

If you go by that logic than we should make everything legal. People speed all the time, even with speed limits and tickets, those who want to speed will speed no matter what. After all, its their car, they should be able to do what they want with it. So lets just take the consequences away… Lets make it legal to speed…Because making speeding illegal isn’t solving anything… People are still speeding…

If speeding was legal, we probably would still put up signs on the road that would have a “recommended” speed limit… We could suggest that they drive safely, especially when having children in the car. You’d have those who are responsible, and those who take advantage of it and put everyone at risk… at a MUCH HIGHER RATE! It would be chaos!
For most people, a speed limit sign is just a reminder… But you put a cop next to that sign… and its an enforcement. People slow down, people obey the law… and the roads are safer. BECAUSE THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES!!!
The argument that people will still get abortions when it becomes illegal is true… But there would be consequences, and the numbers would drop dramatically. Just like the number of abortions increased astronomically when it became legal…
You don’t regulate something that is wrong by making it legal… You regulate it by outlawing it and punishing those who do what is wrong and by requiring them to do the right thing. Not make something wrong legal and hope people will be responsible. That’s absurd. That logic needs to be straightened out.
That’s like not punishing a rapist and saying…
“dont do that again”………..
WHY???…….
“because its bad”………
